This development provides the foundation for the Soil Information System^TM.

Irrigation Decision Support

We often find that it is not enough to generate maps of data but is also important to put the data in a context that provides decision support. Here is an example of combining soil data with crop, weather, irrigation, management, and real-time moisture sensors in a web-based decision support system to assist the land manager in deciding when, where, and how much to irrigate and thus minimizing water usage while maximizing yields.
